Description

Reliable Liquid Level Visibility for Demanding Process Environments
The NYUHZ Series Magnetic Flap Level Gauge is built to give operators a direct, easy-to-read liquid level indication where dependable monitoring matters most. Using the principle of connected vessels and magnetic coupling, the float inside the chamber drives the magnetic flap column to flip, creating a clear visual display that is easy to check at a glance. This makes it a practical choice for plants that need stable level observation without relying only on electronic screens. For buyers comparing options such as a Radar Level Meter or a High Frequency Radar Level Transmitter, this gauge offers a strong mechanical reference point for site-level confirmation and day-to-day inspection.
Engineered for High Temperature, High Pressure, and Corrosive Media
This Magnetic Flap Level Gauge is suitable for complex working conditions, including high temperature, high pressure, and corrosive media, which makes it valuable in process lines where durability and readability are essential. The product structure supports reliable operation under challenging conditions and can be matched with a remote transmitter for signal output, helping teams extend monitoring beyond the tank or vessel. In systems where a Level Switch, RF Admittance Switch, Microwave Level Switch, or even a Gas Flow Meter and Liquid Flow Meter are used for broader instrumentation, this gauge can serve as a clear visual complement for verification, maintenance checks, and operational control.
Practical Fit for Petrochemical, Industrial, and Plant Applications
The NYUHZ Series is widely used in petrochemical and other industrial applications where process stability, safety awareness, and easy field observation are important to daily operations. Its visual indication helps operators confirm liquid status quickly, while remote signal output supports integration into plant monitoring and control systems. For procurement teams, system integrators, and plant engineers selecting related instruments such as an Armored Thermocouple or Thermal Resistor, this gauge fits naturally into a broader measurement setup where level, temperature, and flow data must be managed together with reliable, practical equipment that can handle real site conditions.

How it works
Magnetic flap level gauge can be used for medium level detection in various towers, tanks, tanks, spherical containers and boilers. It is highly sealed, leak-proof and suitable for high temperature, high pressure and corrosion-resistant occasions. The magnetic flap level gauge has a cavity (called a measuring tube or a main tube) that holds a float. The cavity forms a communicating vessel with the container through a flange or other suitable connection method. According to the communicating vessel principle, as the liquid level in the container changes up and down, the liquid surface in the cavity is at the same height as the liquid surface in the container, so it drives the float in the cavity to move up and down, and rises and falls with the rise and fall of the liquid surface in the container. At this time, we cannot see the liquid level, so a magnetic flap display is installed outside the cavity.
A water-permeable magnet is installed at the junction of the floating ball sinking into the liquid and the floating part. When the liquid level in the measured container rises or falls, the magnetic float in the wave level meter body tube also rises or falls. The water-permeable magnet in the float is transmitted to the magnetic flip column indicator through magnetic coupling, driving the red and black flip columns to flip 180". When the liquid level rises, the flip column changes from black to red, and when the wave level drops, the flip column changes from red to black. The red and black junction of the indicator is the actual height of the liquid level inside the container, thereby realizing a clear indication of the liquid level.

Key Advantages
Stable Mechanical Indication for Industrial Conditions
The gauge uses a float and magnetic coupling structure to convert liquid level changes into visible flap movement, so operators can read the level directly without relying only on electrical signals. This structure is well suited to high temperature, high pressure, and corrosive media because the indication part is mechanically isolated from the measured medium, which helps maintain stable performance in demanding process lines.
Easy Integration with Remote Signal Output
The Magnetic Flap Level Gauge can work with a remote transmitter, giving plant teams a practical path from local visual reading to signal transmission in the control system. For procurement teams and engineers, this improves compatibility with monitoring layouts that also use a Radar Level Meter, High Frequency Radar Level Transmitter, Level Switch, RF Admittance Switch, Microwave Level Switch, Gas Flow Meter, Liquid Flow Meter, Armored Thermocouple, and Thermal Resistor, while keeping maintenance straightforward because the level display remains easy to inspect.

Usage scenarios
The magnetic flap level gauge is suitable for liquid level display on containers of chemical, petroleum and other industrial equipment. The magnetic flap level gauge can be equipped with a liquid level gauge and a liquid level switch for remote signal transmission. The float adopts special process design such as high temperature, high pressure, and low density, and the selection of different materials such as titanium, 316L, and PTFE can ensure that the product is suitable for any on-site measurement needs of liquid instruments. At present, magnetic flap meters have been widely used in liquid level measurement and control in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electricity, food, pharmaceuticals, and papermaking.

Storage Tanks and Process Vessels

In tank farms, chemical process vessels, and similar enclosed equipment, operators need a clear way to confirm liquid height when temperature, pressure, or fluid properties make ordinary sight checks unreliable. The Magnetic Flap Level Gauge provides direct visual indication on the tank body, so it helps plant personnel monitor filling and withdrawal states in real time and supports safe decisions during routine operation and inspection.
Corrosive and High-Load Industrial Pipelines
In production areas handling corrosive media or equipment under sustained process load, buyers need an instrument that can stay readable and structurally dependable over long service periods. This gauge fits that role because its magnetic coupling display is designed for harsh conditions, and its optional transmitter output lets system integrators connect it to control rooms where level data must be checked alongside other field instruments such as a Radar Level Meter, Gas Flow Meter, Liquid Flow Meter, Level Switch, RF Admittance Switch, Armored Thermocouple, High Frequency Radar Level Transmitter, Thermal Resistor, and Microwave Level Switch.

FAQ

Q1. What operating conditions is the NYUHZ Series Magnetic Flap Level Gauge suited for?
The unit is intended for complex industrial service, including high temperature, high pressure, and corrosive media. Its operating principle is based on connected vessels and magnetic coupling, so our Magnetic Flap Level Gauge provides clear visual level indication where direct viewing is not practical.

Q2. Can this level gauge provide remote signal output?
Yes, it can be used with a remote transmitter for signal output. That makes it practical for process monitoring and system integration when operators need both local indication and transmitted level data. We can discuss interface requirements with your control team before selection.

Q3. How does the liquid level indication work?
The float moves with the liquid level, and magnetic coupling drives the flap columns to flip, creating a visible level display. This mechanical indication method is straightforward for operators to read, and our design is well-suited to tank and vessel applications requiring stable local monitoring.

Q4. Is this product suitable for industrial measurement systems alongside other instruments?
The gauge is commonly used in industrial process environments where reliable level monitoring is required alongside devices such as a Radar Level Meter, Level Switch, or High Frequency Radar Level Transmitter. We recommend matching the final configuration to your process conditions and instrument layout.

Q5. What information should I provide before ordering?
Please share the measured medium, operating temperature, operating pressure, tank or vessel details, and whether you need local indication only or remote output as well. With those parameters, we can help our buyers and engineering teams confirm the most appropriate configuration for the application.
