The Belt and Road International Industry-Education Integration Center Co-established by FOTIMA GROUP and Sichuan Modern Vocational College Officially Unveiled

At 10 a.m. on June 24, 2026, the unveiling and opening ceremony of the Belt and Road International Industry-Education Integration Center, jointly founded by FOTIMA GROUP and Sichuan Modern Vocational College, was grandly held on the campus of Sichuan Modern Vocational College. Institutional leaders, foreign economic and trade delegates from various countries, together with faculty and student representatives, gathered at the venue to witness this landmark milestone of coordinated Sino-foreign industry-education development and enterprise global expansion support.

The ribbon-cutting session kicked off the whole event. Yin Pengcheng, Vice President of Sichuan Modern Vocational College, took the stage to deliver the opening address. Centered on the core theme of coordinated international industry and education development, he illustrated that internationalization constitutes a vital direction for the upgrading of vocational education. The college attaches great strategic importance to its in-depth partnership with FOTIMA GROUP. It expects to build unimpeded two-way pipelines for talent cultivation and industrial matchmaking through the integrated platform of the center, develop featured majors tailored to global markets by leveraging cross-border resources, and construct a comprehensive international growth and employment platform for all students.

Shortly afterwards, Lu Yizhen, Core Executive of FOTIMA GROUP and Director of the China Office of Atyrau Oil and Gas University of Kazakhstan, delivered a keynote speech on behalf of the enterprise side, thoroughly interpreting the Group’s innovative "Three-in-One" international industry-education integration framework. She stated that FOTIMA has years of profound experience delivering cross-border industrial services for economies along the Belt and Road Initiative. Supported by its worldwide resource network covering Central Asia, Russian-speaking regions, Southeast Asia and Australia, the Group integrates full-spectrum resources including industrial technologies, overseas distribution channels and cross-border commercial trade. The joint launch of this industry-education integration center with Sichuan Modern Vocational College represents a pivotal strategic layout to open bidirectional channels for talent incubation, industrial practical training and transnational commerce.

The center operates three core functional divisions: the Belt and Road Technology Research Institute (R&D LAB), the Belt and Road Education Center, and the Belt and Road Commercial Service Center, eliminating information barriers separating domestic vocational education systems from overseas global markets. Domestically, it supplies standardized international training curricula and accessible overseas exchange and study tour pathways for vocational colleges. Internationally, it delivers one-stop overseas market entry solutions for small and medium-sized manufacturers, energy firms and equipment enterprises targeting Central Asian Russian-speaking territories, Southeast Asia and Australia, achieving reciprocal development through integrating education to empower industry and leveraging industry to elevate education.

A dedicated exchange forum for international guests was arranged during the ceremony. Distinguished overseas trade specialists including Datuk Penny Wong from Malaysia and Keith Lam, Chief SME Advisor of Austrade Australia, delivered successive presentations. Drawing from their hands-on local market experience, they shared actionable operational guidelines covering cross-border trade and school-enterprise collaboration across different regions. A special presentation focusing on business expansion into Central Asian Russian-speaking areas drew on FOTIMA’s long-standing accumulated local resources in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian nations, elaborating a complete service ecosystem encompassing local energy industry cooperation, international talent recruitment and cross-border project execution, offering highly implementable insights for all attending faculty, students and industry practitioners.

Ma Yazhao, Deputy Dean of the School of International Exchange at Sichuan Modern Vocational College, then addressed the audience and fully recognized the value of the international cooperation platform developed by FOTIMA GROUP. The college highlighted that with FOTIMA’s extensive network of overseas universities and commercial partners across multiple countries, it will comprehensively advance Sino-foreign joint schooling programs, international student exchange schemes and joint cross-border training base construction. The institution will export China’s vocational training benchmarks and technical frameworks to all Belt and Road nations, while introducing frontier demands from global industries to iteratively optimize on-campus major curricula, systematically cultivating versatile international skilled professionals equipped with foreign language proficiency, global industrial vision and solid practical technical capabilities.
At the closing segment of the agenda, all institutional leaders, international guests, faculty and student representatives assembled onstage for a collective group photograph, preserving a precious record of this landmark industry-education integration event.
With the newly inaugurated Belt and Road International Industry-Education Integration Center in operation, FOTIMA GROUP has formally established a sustainable long-term operational vehicle for school-enterprise collaborative development. Moving forward, the Group will continue to deepen strategic cooperation with domestic vocational colleges, overseas higher education institutions and international economic and trade authorities. On one hand, it will further expand its network of partner universities across Russian-speaking regions, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia, roll out additional overseas study tour and joint research initiatives, and facilitate high-quality global outreach for domestic vocational education. On the other hand, relying on the commercial service division of the center, the Group will open exclusive green channels for domestic enterprises to connect with overseas markets, complete local compliance formalities and secure cross-border project partnerships. Taking industry-education integration as a fundamental linkage, FOTIMA will continuously strengthen educational exchange and mutually beneficial industrial collaboration between China and all Belt and Road partner countries, driving coordinated high-quality growth in foreign trade and vocational education.
