Deepen International Exchange & Cooperation Discuss Synergistic Global Development
Dato’ Penny Wong of Malaysia Joins FOTIMA GROUP to Forge New Prospects for International Collaboration

To broaden global collaborative vision and build a dialogue platform for Chinese and international partners, FOTIMA GROUP set up a special guest sharing session at the inauguration event of the Belt and Road International Industry-Education Integration Center. Dato’ Penny Wong from Malaysia was invited to deliver a keynote speech. The session brought together faculty, students, industrial representatives and cross-border trade guests from multiple nations, who engaged in in-depth exchanges on overseas business growth and win-win cross-border collaboration.

At the opening of the session, Lu Yizhen, CEO of FOTIMA GROUP, delivered the opening address and extended a warm welcome to Dato’ Penny Wong and all domestic and international attendees. She introduced the Group’s three-in-one international industry-education integration platform, which covers three core functions: talent cultivation, industrial training and cross-border trade. Supported by a global resource network spanning Central Asia (Russian-speaking regions), Australia and Southeast Asia, the platform continuously facilitates two-way connections between Chinese and overseas vocational institutions and enterprises.
Lu Yizhen pointed out that Southeast Asia stands as a core segment of the Group’s global layout. Boasting a strategic geographic location and diversified industrial sectors, Malaysia serves as a vital hub linking China and ASEAN markets. The Group intends to take this sharing session as an opportunity to establish regular communication channels with all sectors in Malaysia, and launch tangible initiatives including joint school-running, cross-border trade matchmaking and targeted overseas talent training. Leveraging the platform’s comprehensive resources, the Group aims to lower barriers for bilateral cross-border cooperation and realize mutual sharing of educational resources and industrial channels. She added that the Group will keep inviting trade representatives from across the globe to host thematic sharing events, consolidating the foundation for multilateral cooperation through regular communication.

Drawing on her personal life journey and decades of hands-on experience in overseas business operations, Dato’ Penny Wong elaborated on her experience exploring Southeast Asian markets and establishing cross-border trade networks, while summarizing practical know-how for cross-cultural collaboration and transnational project implementation. Combined with Malaysia’s indigenous industrial strengths and regional trade characteristics, she conducted an in-depth analysis of contemporary opportunities for China-Southeast Asia trade and vocational education cooperation, and voiced full consensus on deepening two-way partnerships between China and Southeast Asian countries.
Dato’ Penny Wong remarked that there exists enormous untapped potential for integrated industrial and educational cooperation between China and Southeast Asia. China’s sophisticated manufacturing technologies and mature vocational education system align perfectly with market demands across Southeast Asian nations. The international industry-education integration platform built by FOTIMA GROUP can effectively connect the full value chain of talent development, industrial matching and cross-border commerce, creating a stable long-term communication bridge for vocational schools and enterprises in both China and Malaysia to achieve complementary resources and shared strengths. She expressed her expectation to maintain continuous collaboration with FOTIMA GROUP to advance diverse initiatives such as Sino-Malaysian joint education programs, cross-border practical training and commercial project matchmaking, and further unlock untapped bilateral cooperation potential.
FOTIMA GROUP has long maintained ties with vocational institutions across Southeast Asia, Central Asia (Russian-speaking regions) and Australia, and regularly organizes exchange events including overseas expert seminars and cross-border trade forums. This keynote sharing by Dato’ Penny Wong further strengthens the Group’s cooperative bonds with Southeast Asia and accumulates valuable resources for future Sino-Malaysian industry-education integration and two-way trade implementation.
Moving forward, FOTIMA GROUP will continue to invite industrial leaders and trade specialists from various countries to host a series of sharing sessions, and continuously refine its international exchange service system. Guided by the three-in-one industry-education integration model, the Group will further drive deep collaboration between China and Southeast Asian countries in talent training and industrial development, and foster a stable, sustainable new landscape of two-way Sino-foreign cooperation.
